What is VLESS?

VLESS is a lightweight data transfer protocol between a VPN client and a server. It is deliberately minimal: no extra wrapping layers, which means high speed and low load on your device. Vinipuch uses VLESS together with the Reality transport on the official sing-box core.
A protocol defines how the client and the server negotiate a session and exchange data. VLESS keeps this extremely simple: minimal overhead and no double-wrapping of traffic. In practice that means lower latency and battery usage than heavier schemes.
VLESS does not work alone: encryption and session setup belong to the transport layer. In Vinipuch that is Reality over TLS 1.3 — the client verifies the server by its public key rather than a certificate authority chain.
What matters for you as a user: the VLESS · Reality combination is supported by the official sing-box client on all major platforms, and setup comes down to a single profile link from the bot or cabinet.
