DNS and Vinipuch: we do not record queries — what that means

DNS turns a site name into an address. Vinipuch does not record user DNS queries, does not keep browsing history and does not store traffic contents. Counters are a total volume for the period, without destination addresses. The service does not promise absolute no-logs: operational records for the account, payments and safety are kept. The canon is the logging policy. This page does not replace it.
What the policy says
No browsing history, no traffic contents, no user DNS queries. Traffic counters are only a total volume for the billing period.
What DNS means here
The “which name to which address” query is not written as user history. This is not a workshop on running your own resolver.
This is not absolute no-logs
Account, payments, access setup and traffic totals are processed. An honest minimum, not a we-store-nothing slogan.
The counter is not a route
Bytes in the period serve the quota. Destination addresses are not stored in the counter.
Privacy
The privacy policy repeats: the service is not meant to store DNS queries, resource history or traffic contents.
